The Lighted Tree was more than a building. It was a courtyard, a gathering place, a family. and part of LGBTQ history in St.Pete Beach. Bedrox was also part of that story, but the Tree is where so many memories live.

When Kim was trying to get the Bedrox liquor license, the inspector showed up and stated a 7 course meal was require to be served in order to obtain the license. She went to the store and purchased 75 TV dinners. 65 people joined us from the beach, eating all of the dinners. We got the license!
